Laser Lightshow

"I didn't think I would like this game.  I love this game." - Multiple streamers during Next Fest

"I can feel my smooth brain getting wrinklier" - One of those same streamers during Next Fest

One Laser.

That's all it starts with.

Bounce it off a mirror. Hit a target. Easy.  You've seen that before.

That's where the similarities end... because then you are handed more.  A whole lot more.

Prisms. Teleporters. Rotating machinery. Colored glass. Paint. Tracks. Sonic blasters. Wires. Logic gates. Repeaters. Pressure plates. Interfaces. Suddenly you're not just solving puzzles—you’re reverse engineering ridiculous machines, triggering massive chain reactions, and filling the screen with lasers, sparks, explosions, and light.

Every new mechanic is designed to combine with everything that came before it, creating hundreds of handcrafted puzzles packed with satisfying "Aha!" moments and spectacular solutions.

This is a platform for awesome puzzles and limitless possibilities.

Then Build Your Own.

The built-in editor isn't an afterthought.

It's the same editor used to build the entire game.

Want to make a clever five-second puzzle? Go for it.

Want to build an absurd laser-powered machine that takes thirty seconds to unfold before ending in a screen full of lightning and chaos? You can do that too.

With dozens of mechanics that all interact with one another, the possibilities grow astronomically. Design elegant puzzles, elaborate contraptions, functioning logic circuits, or things that exist simply because they're fun to watch.

A Note From the Developer

Laser Lightshow was built as my answer to something I believe has become far too common in the gaming industry: quantity over quality.

Too many games are designed to capture your attention, waste your time, or squeeze just a little more money out of you instead of simply being worth playing.

I wanted to make something different.

Laser Lightshow is the result of five years spent building the kind of game I want to play: something packed with content, experimentation, secrets, ridiculous ideas, and systems that exist because they're fun—not because they improve a metric.

This game is my small contribution to a simple idea:

Players should expect more from their games.
