No Gods of Men

BUILD TOWARD THE HEAVENS

Build a sprawling citadel toward the realms above. House your disciples, put them to work, feed them, train them, and expand your civilization floor by floor.

INVADE THE REALMS OF GODS

Enter hostile realms ruled by ancient gods. Every invasion offers new treasures and opportunities to construct a devastatingly powerful build.

SUMMON THE GODS

The gods will not face you willingly. Fight their servants, complete the ritual that forces them from hiding, and confront the god on its own ground...and prove it can bleed.

RETURN STRONGER

Death is not the end. Return to your citadel with the resources and power you have earned. Expand your stronghold, strengthen your disciples, unlock new abilities, and prepare for the next invasion.

Every invasion makes your citadel stronger and your citadel can make every invasion deadlier.

Hand-Drawn Dark Fantasy World

Explore a gorgeously gruesome world brought to life with vibrant, hand-drawn artwork, blending Saturday-morning cartoon charm with brooding dark fantasy vibes. Every character and backdrop is teeming with color and personality, making each run a visual treat.

Roguelike Metroidvania Action

Fight, die, and fight again through hand-crafted 2D dungeons. Experience tight, responsive combat inspired by the likes of Dead Cells, with souls-lite boss fights and no checkpoints – if you fall, you rise anew. Unlock permanent abilities that open up new strategies in classic Metroidvania style.

Build Your Colony

Between dungeon runs, construct and upgrade your towering citadel. Build dining halls, training facilities, research libraries, castle gardens, and altars that allow your disciples to worship your great achievements. Manage your colony of disciples – feed them, train them, and assign critical roles. The realms of gods demand blood; some disciples may need to be sacrificed on your conquest.

Epic Boss Encounters

Face off against the twisted lieutenants of the ancient gods and even fight the gods themselves. Each fight will require different strategies and tactics, challenging your reflexes and whether you’ve chosen the right upgrades as you’ve leveled. Triumph, and you’ll earn game-changing rewards – and maybe free a trapped disciple to join your citadel.

Colony Management & Morale

Keep an eye on your disciples’ morale and needs. Followers in No Gods of Men are not mindless, they’ll react based on their quality of life. It is critical that each disciple is fed, has clean room & board, and has a responsibility that makes them feel significant toward your cause.
