Last Evac

Two ways to survive the end of the city

Battle Royale: 60 players, a closing zone and one helicopter out. Solo or in a squad of four.
Left Behind: an always-on survival world with zombies, safe camps and a stash that stays. Come and go when you like.

Battle Royale: the city is gone, one helicopter is left

Ride the evac helicopter in through the clouds, jump whenever you like and parachute into the ruins. Scavenge weapons, armor and medicine, craft what you are missing and stay ahead of the closing zone. 60 players, one way out: be the last one standing and the evac helicopter comes back for you, drops a rope ladder wherever you are and flies you out of the city.

You only see what your character sees

Walls block your line of sight, so a building hides whoever is inside it. Doors open, slam and break; drop a barricade shield to hold a doorway. Footsteps, gunshots, creaking doors and crows taking off give positions away, and a thrown noise bottle can send everyone the wrong way. Rain muffles your steps; a thunderclap swallows a gunshot.

Pick a role

Every role has two abilities: Q on a short cooldown, F the stronger one.

• Scout: Pet Crow flies over the walls, shows you what is around it and marks enemies who come close. Keen Ears turns every nearby sound into a ripple where it came from.

• Breaker: Scrap Shield stops bullets from the front. Molotov sets the ground on fire to flush players out of cover. Breaks doors twice as fast.

• Medic: Quick Wrap heals you over three seconds while you keep moving. Gas Mask keeps the zone from hurting you for a while.

Loot, craft, fight

• 15 guns, from a pocket pistol to a .50 sniper rifle that only falls from the sky, plus the axe for close quarters

• Scopes, extended magazines, suppressors and grips: a suppressed shot isn't heard across the map

• Open loot chests, blow up explosive barrels (and whoever is standing next to them), chop down trees with an axe

• Helmets and vests in three levels, backpacks to carry more: the bag is limited by weight, not slots

• Craft bandages, medkits and tactical items from cloth, chemicals, wood and scrap

• Tactical items: smoke grenades nobody can see through, tripwire alarms, barricade shields you drop in one press, noise bottles and painkillers

• Twice a match a supply helicopter drops a crate of rare loot under a red smoke flare that everyone can see

Solo or Squad

Queue alone or with up to three Steam friends; a smaller party, or a player alone who picks Squad, is filled up to four with other players, then bots. Squadmates share what they see, ping enemies, loot and places with one click, mark landing spots for each other and bring each other back up when one goes down. And when a squadmate is out for good, carry their dog tag to a Crow Cargo box: the crows fly them back into the match.

Every match is different

A new flight path, new loot and a new zone every match. Clear skies, a rain shower or a thunderstorm; morning, midday or evening light, with the street lamps coming on at dusk.

Left Behind: a 24/7 zombie survival world

One always-on world with no match timer, no closing zone and no winner. Log out where you stand; your bag and your stash are waiting when you come back.

• Up to 40 players in one 800x800 world made only for this mode, and the dead walk: walkers, runners, armoured zombies and screamers that call the rest

• The further north you go, the harder it gets: quiet villages and forest in the south, towns and a big city centre in the middle, snowy mountains, an airfield and the military base in the north

• Headshots drop them. Your shots and your sprinting draw them, and you hear a horde moan before you see it

• Two walled safe camps where no weapon fires: your stash, the workbench and a fire with a guitar player

• Hunger, thirst and infection: cook the meat, boil the water, antibiotics push an infected bite back

• A full day every hour: at night there are twice as many zombies, far more of them run, and the loot gets better. Your flashlight comes on at nightfall

• Recipe books to find, levels up to 30 and a skill tree with four branches (Survival, Combat, Stealth, Craft)

• Groups of up to four made inside the world, with world, nearby and group chat and voice

• Die, and everything you carried stays on your body. Go back for it

Keep coming back

One career across both modes. Earn XP and levels, master each role, finish weekly and daily challenges and compare your XP with your friends on the leaderboards. Your rooftop hideout fills up as your career grows, and when a match is found the evac helicopter lands on your roof to pick you up. Choose your survivor's body, skin, hair and clothes. 15 Steam achievements to unlock.

Online

Battle Royale matchmaking runs on dedicated servers, with bots filling empty seats so a match starts quickly. The Left Behind server is in Europe (Germany) for now, so players further away will see a higher ping. Windows and macOS players play together. Available in 14 languages.
