Cutting Edge: Roots of Mutation

Guide the plumed basilisk Dr. Peri Maddock, a young but skilled surgeon burdened with a mysterious cybernetic eye. It's your job to save your patients — no matter if they have a four-chambered stomach, a shell as tough as steel, or even two hearts.

Screw, solder, and hack your way through the dawn of cybernetics. Your patients may come with faulty implants, leaky machine oil, and broken synthetic body parts.

Across over 40 operations, will you be able to adapt to not only these new technologies, but also a looming threat growing behind the scenes?

Cut, stitch, burn, or screw? Different problems call for different solutions, and you'll have to master them all to save your patients.

• Wield conventional implements like the Scalpel, Syringe, and Sutures.

• Repair synthetic devices with more advanced tools like the intense Exo-Torch, the versatile Driver, and the device-hacking S.L.E.D.

Leverage Peri's K-TAZ Cybernetic Eye to scan the operating field and gather potentially life-saving information during the heat of a procedure.

• Triage wounds efficiently using scan info.

• Discover your Eye's secrets, as the world may soon depend on it...

• Take a breather between operations and follow the multi-chapter story of Dr. Peri Maddock, a plumed basilisk.

• Get to know mouse surgeons, shark nurses, fennec Cybernetic Systems Technicians, and even dragon corporate suits in Visual Novel-lite sections.

• But be careful — not everyone can be trusted...

Fed up with standard equipment?

• Discover and unlock Overclocks that modify your tools to fit your playstyle.

• Pay attention to the patient's chart and choose wisely — you can only equip one.
